DEV UPDATE!

Got a dev update for you all!

Reign of Vampires Calling all artists! Have your weapon art featured on Reign of Vampires! We're experimenting with a brand new system called "The Forge" where users can upload art for new weapons, and design them with very special abilities. Looking for feedback, and links to artwork by our users. Do you have some skills? Post a link to your portfolio. No skills? Let us know what you think of the idea!

Major Facebook policy changes caused us to have to rewrite all of our code. That's the short version.

Wow. Well you did that without any apparent down time to the game. That's majorly impressive.

Well, it wasn't just this game, it was all the games. The rewrites didn't require any downtime since there was no db restructuring. The 2.1mm blood cap fix though requires a change in the db backend which does cause downtime (the game is currently down for this fix)

We're preparing for a bunch of new changes by Facebook (they may be removing requests and notifications completely), and may require another rewrite, so we're going to try to allow users to build content for the game.

Friend of the Day?

Ok, what is the point of this? Does this do anything? Every time I've done this it is someone not in my clan, not in my friends list. Am I supposed to add this person as a friend, or as the crosshair picture seems to suggest, attack them or put them on the hit list?

There is nothing listed on the wall from the devs about this feature.

Have you noticed anything about this feature? What are your feelings about it?

Shadow Form

Shadow form is updated on the spreadsheet all. Sorry for the delay.

BTW, it's not really worth it. It's the same cost as Astral Vision was but is 4 points under.

Notice however that they have what seems to be a classification tag in the name? The Astral ones had (Astral) and the shadow has (Shadow). It seems redundant now, or at least a goofy naming convention. However, the devs alluded to having special bonuses if you owned all the items in a set. As it stands, we don't know what exactly constitutes a set, but it would seem to make sense that it would be an attack power, defense power and enhancement.

So at the moment it appears that we have two sets to be collecting, Astral and Shadow. Wonder what the bonuses will be!
